Ive notice that my maint required light blinks 3-4 times before going off when the car is started. This is long after the SRS, door light, and seat belt light ect. shut off. I wouldn't think anything of this because it does actually shut of but my car was idling really weird today. When the car isn't in gear and i use the breaks to stop it idles down real low like it wants to shut off. But when i down shift and use the breaks it doesn't idle funny until you take the car out of gear. when I come to a complete stop the car idles down real low and then idles fine at about 700rpms. Anything to worry about?
The Maintenance Required light does not indicate anything with the functioning of the car. Your check engine light will indicate issues if any. The MR light works on a timer, counts miles, and is supposedly supposed to adjust based on driving conditions. I drive my car spirited a good portion of the time and it still only illuminates every 10K or so. It is supposed to indicate time for oil changes and service intervals. Ideally, it illuminates to indicate an oil change is necessary. I don't know about you, but I would NEVER rely on it for that or anything else. It is really pointless, and you can just reset it yourself and be done with it until it comes on again in about 10K miles. Just don't forget to change your oil and perform the required maintenance at recommended intervals.

no, you're stupid.
no, i'm not being sarcastic.
You need to reset it manually. It's normally done by people who do oil changes on your car, but if you do them yourself, you would need to reset it automatically.
Hold down the odometer stick. Turn your key into the II position while still holding it down. Hold it there for another 10 seconds. Start your car while still holding it down. Hold it down for a few more seconds and you can release it.
p.s. It's brakes and not breaks. break is an adjective. You break a toy. Brake on the other hand is a noun. You use your brakes when you need to stop in your car.
