For a P72 head, JDM=USDM. Remember that new cars are typically released in the fall of the previous year. So a head manufactured in 1993 on a 94 USDM GSR is possible.

'Tis true. My 94 GSR sedan #000005 has a 93 head casting being it was one of the first ones made so it was late 93 as a 94 model. And at school we have a 90 LS motor that has a 89 casting on it.
