I heard a rumor somewhere that Honda will be offering a V8 for the Ridgeline in the future. Does this have any truth to it?

 

I have heard it is possible, but more so I have heard that the next gen Ridge may get a optional diesel...

ive heard the same.


v8 rumors by some

diesel rumors by most.

 

honda does make a v8.
but you would need an f1 or champ kart and a closed track to use it.
but MÜGEN did make a tl with the fomula v8 in it.

I'm pretty sure the Mugen vehicle was based off of a Rl not the TL

v8 honda's get people out into public, even during a sars epidemic.

 

those face mask's are very comon in asia during cold season it realy helps keep you from getting sick esp. when your in a crouded place like tas or a subway or something. they even make them with cartoons and stuff for the kids

Any idea what configuration the diesel would be (in-line 6 turbo diesel ~3L or so)? I think it would be great for Honda to offer a small displacement turbo diesel in the Ridgeline.

That rumor has been going around foe awhile now. It has just been a rumor though. In a few months Honda will announce a Diesel for 09 Ridgeline. Of course for 09, Acura will get a V10 for the first time.
