Default alright guys need some enlightenment about nitrous and my engine

ok so im thinking about nitrous v.s. turbo first and i want to do nitrous cause few people in my area us it. however i dont know what delivery system would be best for my engine. i also dont know what size shot would be good or if i need to get a tune with it to keep it safe. i have a 00 si which has the b16a2 so any info you guys can give me such as links or just stuff you know that would be amazing. i appreciate any help you guys can give!

So your motor is comepletely stock right.Well a safe kit is always a wet system either by nos or nx.plus a tune on the dyno will give you the most power and the safest way to tune your motor with it.For a stock block im guessing 50 shot but your tuner will probably tell you whats the safest route to go.

I would use a dry kit. Jet it small and work up from there. On a stock set up and with "a not so trust worthy tuner" I wouldnt trust nothing but a dry shot. Its simply, easy to use, and doesnt need to be tuned. Set the bottle psi at around 900psi and spray the **** out of it.

Just curious, but how do you add fuel to that extra nitrous? Or are you only talking about a small shot?

The bottle pressure puts pressure on the fuel regulator and the computer is
in open loop at full throttle, I'm sprayin a 75dry on my type r swap and the
only modifications are that the timing is retarded 2deg and the fuel pressure
is up 10 psi and I've had no problems.

The only reason im sayin dry is cause I bought a dry kit a while back from a friend for real cheap and ive had it sittin around forever. I was thinkin about throwin it in this summer.
