fast idle is whack and jerks are caused by the cars going into gear at higher rpm

 

why would you want your car to idle low @ warmp up? thats kinda silly. and as for your "jerking" it prolly is your motor mounts. when you go from park to Drive, and the car kinda clunks. Its the motor/trans shifting a bit and clunks for it moving. its a feel able jerk.

 

no other car ive had did that, its sort of annoying that it revs up. I rather it turn on and sit at 900-1k, is that in the ecu or something else?

weather you think so or not all cars do that to warm up. depending on the temp outside and inside the engine you will have that cold startup problem. as for tranny jerking its time for a tranny fluid flush and new auto tranny fluid

 

It is indeed a feelable jerk. Yeah, i would like to reduce the reving from 2k, is that changable with the ecu?
