The topic says it all. Are the Civic HX rims 14"? If so what is the going rate for them.

14x5.5 and they go for around 200-400 for a set but they keep getting higher

I have VX rims, but they're only 13" and won't clear any brakes except the stock ones. They suck. I need a set of rims.

i was at a junkyard in sun valley the other day and they wanted $400 for a set of HX rims with continental tires...kinda overpriced!!

 

I just picked up a set of HX rims powdercoated gunmetal with 195/60/14 falken aziens for 450 shipped. Good deals can be found!

 

how much does it cost to powdercoat?

i have a set of hx's but i was going to trade them for some SI's

but they look pretty cool powdercoated!

i believe the HX rims give u a low gear advantage because they are smaller...Smaller rims give u better acceleration

 

SkyeC - Im not sure if thats ur car but if it is - i like those rims..mite consider getting some for my hatch

 

I have heard from some people that the hx's wheels won't clear the 96 and up civic ex's brakes. I wanted to get a set but i saw a post on h-t about that problem. Does anyone know if that is true?

 

i dunno about the ex's but i think that is true for the SI.

sweet! nice ride skyec. they dont' even look 14", more like 15" wheels. but if you think about si & gsr rims on your car, reality kicks in, they look like 14". i wouldn't mind settling for those if i can find them real cheap!
