As long as the motor is healthy and still runs strong, then yes.

It depends on what you are going to do with it. Remember people have done ls vtec's with the b18a1 so the year of the block doesn't have much to do with if it is possible or not. It all depends on what your goals are for it.

so you are basically going to keep the stock ls bottom end and keep the b16 or gsr head stock as well?

I say don't do it, just because it's not going to last without a build up. With 93,000 on the motor the bearing are probably a little worn adding a vtec head will finish them off a lot quicker.

Yeah if you didn't abuse the motor and it still runs strong it should be fine, but 93k is pushing it a little.

I have just change the bottom end with ACL bearings . I change the rod bearings and also the main bearings as well.. So my motor should last now thoe right?

would say just go for it, i think it will last and as long as you get the right stuff for it you should be fine, and if you do blow it runn over to the junkyard and pick up another for 50 bucks, or get a new lower mileage engine after yours takes a dump.

To the original poster. Most Honda engines can make 200k miles very easily. If your motor isn't a big time oil burner, i'd say yes, go for it. It all depends on what you want to do. Do YOU, as in YOURSELF, want it? It's as simple as a yes or no answer. If you can't get the parts for a decent price, you'll probably be better off just getting a B16 swap. However, an LS-VTEC motor will be more "torquey" and should outrun the B16 while turning less rpm.

What I would consider if I were you, and it'd be an easier install, and will perform alot better, would be a JRSC. These kits can be found for very good prices. Their condition is something you'll have to worry about for yourself. However, I think a S/C install would be a more cost effective move for you. Then again, if it's VTEC that you want, then that is your choice.

I hope this helps.

ls with a gsr head is your best bet, you will be taking out gsr's at will

You could chip the ls for vtec or you can just get a stock gsr or b16 depending on what head you are using, i would also sugest chipping any ecu you get, easiest way for hp.

Intake manifold gsr only.
Exhaust manifold, the LS will bolt on, but changes will have to be made where it bolts to the catalytic converter. Good luck!

look for the ls/vtec build thread, its got alot of good information for a RELIABLE ls/vtec. intake manifolds are different. u need a gsr one if u get a gsr head. exhaust is also different but only in length. there's tons of good information out there if u would do alittle reading.

to the one that recommends a s/c kit as a easier option and being cost effective. like most mods u'll need supporting parts to go along with it to make it reliable.

i would say get an after market intake manifold. And most of all get the eagle head dowel pins" no machining" and some ARP head bolts and you should be good
