story time
Get comfortable...
So I manage a bicycle shop in south OC, and I get a call a couple months ago from this guy with a UK accent saying his time trial bike was messed up during the flight over. I tell him to come in and I'll see what I can do to help him out. In comes this guy named Darren with redbull stickers all over his bike case, and he sees my r1 parked outside. He asks and I tell him its mine... he then tells me in addition to being a ironman athelete he was a redbull junior team instructor for the gp program. I'm all sorts of stoked on how cool this guy is as he brings me in 6 cases of redbull for getting him a replacement bike for his stay. Since then I have stayed in contact via email with him shooting bike talk and yada yada and he tells me he's got someone for me to meet when he comes back over this past week. He shows up with this young kid (pretty much my same age) from the UK and introduces himself as Craig Jones... as in Jones Racing team for WSBK. I take care of both their bikes for the duration of there stay here, and again am thanked with several cases of redbull. Over the course of the week I got talk to talk to them about building my new trackbike (which is the same bike craig races) as well as critiquing my riding vids/photos. Right as they go to leave, Craig and Darren come in to say goodbye and they pull me aside. They sent me a brand new set of tire warmers for helping them out, as well as 2 hospitality passes for my gf and I to this next redbull grand prix in L.Seca! Needless to say I've slept much better since

Wow. Redbull>Monster. Good story man. That's sort of a dream scenario.

funny ou say that, they had a meeting with monster out in corona area in reply to an offer when they were here
