PINKS ALL OUT REGISTRATION INFOMATION - JULY 25-26 2008
RACER REGISTRATION STARTS JANUARY 6, 2008 12:01am

1. This will be a muffled event-NO EXCEPTIONS! You must have "real" mufflers with baffles. No bullet type mufflers will be accepted.
2. All NHRA rules will apply and will be enforced. Remember you must have all of your proper safety equipment, driver credentials, chassis certifications, etc. in order to participate at this event.
3. No employees, their families, sponsors, track officials, race coordinators, etc. are eligible to be chosen to race for the $10,000 and the pinks all out run-off. No special treatment will be made to anyone. Please don't ask.
4. The racer registration process will be open to the public on Sunday January 6, 2008 at 12:01am. It will be done via the special e-mail address, etownpinks@yahoogroups.com. You need join the etownpinks Yahoo Group in order for the email to be accepted. We recommend you do this in advance. All e-mails sent prior 1/6/08 @12:01am will be deleted from the process. The special e-mail address is for racer registration only. No questions will be answered.

5. All racer registrants will be taken in time order as shown on the e-mail clock. They will be numbered 1-400. The next group of 401-500 will be considered alternates.
6. All of the first group of registrants, 1-400, will receive a "phone call" from the Raceway Park Tech staff to go over all of the muffler and NHRA safety rules that will apply on July 25-26. Once we feel that you are good to participate in pinks all out, you will be invited to do so. You will still have to pass a driver and vehicle inspection once you get to Raceway Park.
7. There is mandatory information that you will have to include in your e-mail on 1/6/08. This includes full name, full address, at least 1 daytime phone #, 2 would be better. Year, make, and model of vehicle. Best ET, best MPH. If you can't fill out all of the information, you will not receive a phone call. If you can't pass the phone interview, you cannot participate on 7/25-26.
8. Do not call Raceway Park to see if you are in once registration is complete. We will let you know via a phone call sometime in January. Please, do not call us to ask. This will only slow down the process.
All Racer Tech Questions can be emailed to etowntech@yahoo.com.
Spectator tickets will be available at the gate the day of the event.

it is, im being s smart ***, because a long trip to MIR for a friend, only to be sent home for going too fast. i am a little bitter towards then thats all.

 

They might consider a turbo a muffler.

 

We got more TV exposure from one single pinks all out that ANY other event that we have ever enter, Great for your business ! and Free.

20,000+ were at that event in Moroso

 

i think a lot of sfwd type local cars will be there..i know if my car ran low 10s high 9s i will def. go...10k on the line...its better then $500 that NHRA pays

 

it would be nice to see more imports at pinks allout.. its mostly domestics ...

x2 all the episodes i see are mostly domestics..

Maybe make a Domestic seperate from Import and the winner of both race in the final?

Got to remember, you'll be at E-town and with the noise ordinance rules there you must run a muffler on Saturday's.

I was supposed to be on the new Pass time show but an oil down from the Torco Top Fuel car bumped my show to the next day and I couldn't make it due to work. I was so pissed off about that! i think they shot one import car that entire day, 3 or 4 diesel trucks and quite a few 16 second mustangs.

 

i dont think you should assume a car is too fast. for this show dont they look at all the cars that ran and pick the 16 that are close in et and a group that can put on the best show? for the exposure and possible money at stake it definately seems worth it to go out with a setup soft enough to go rounds with minimal maintainance and see if its what they are looking for. should be a good time ill be there to see it.

that killed it for me. im not putting a flowmaster on my car. i guess my apex-i n1 wont cut it.

idk i may actually try this one.

 

Im for sure going to at least join that Yahoo mail group, and send in an email at midnight tonight.

If i get in, ill start asking tech questions. Screw it if i have to throw some wack muffler on there for one event, so be it. I dont think it will slow me down that much.

Seems like we are sending an email to that specified email address, but it must be from our Yahoo.com email address we used to join the group. It cant be from say... a Hotmail or Gmail account ect ect.

Can anyone chime in and point me in the right direction, dont want to miss it.
