Damn that sucks...
Well I tend to look at Moving violations as violations that potentally may put others at risk.

...the law is freaking confusing...

ya man here in nc we only have safety inspe. but i took my bros bmw to the inspection and they didnt pass it cuz the tint was too dark(only side windows, and they werent dark at all, i told the guy look at that car over in the parking lot, and other cars that passed by and they were tinted dark as hell, we took car to bmw for inspection and it passed, stupid ppl man
a moving violation is a violation that can only occur in movement.
Like your tint for example.... it is a violation wether its moving or sitting still. so thats just a violation...
if ur speeding... thats a violation that can only happen if the car is moving... so thats a moving violation.

I'm pretty sure it won't.
I would give a call to the DMV to make sure.
Also, insurance companies treat different violations differently.
I had a prob that occured 4 years ago, and my insurance company held that against me, making me pay for the damn thing...
Went to another...they didn't calculate that. Rates went in half (yay)
Also from what I understood from my call to the DMV, "major" violations never really do come off your record...basically took what I thought was three years or so to clear a record, out the window...she told me its how the bastards want to "play" with the info.
I read somewhere, that you can have a bunch of dumb tickets, that will never go on your record, as long as you pay them of course.
correct me if anything

Take a razor blade and get some hot soapy water........when I got a ticket for it, it took me about an hour to remove my tint from my front windows......had a cop sign it off since it was written as a fix it ticket. Had to pay like $10 or something in the end.
get pure amonia. as in amonia in a bottle u can buy it almost anywhere... like supermarket.. its in the cleaning sections... i got mine from walgreens and also ive gotten it at a paint store...
Put it in a spray bottle... Spray the amonia over the window u want to de-tint. Spray it nice and generous... next get a black trash bag and cut it up so it covers the window.... make sure theres lots of amonia between the glass and trashbag...
leave it in the sun for like 1 hour then go spray it again..... then leave it for another hour.... (its actually only like 30mins but i find if u leave it longer its a lot easier)
if u do it right grab an edge of the tint and slowly and firmly pull on the tint..... u should be able to remove the whole window in one piece. no razor bladed nonsense.
This is the only real way to remove tint unless u have an expensive steam tint remover.

dark tint is illegal wether the car is going 1000mph or parked in a parking lot.
