ive asked earliear about the greddy turbo kit
But the edelbrock seems better cause it comes with everything (intercooler bov)
anybody running it or know of anybody running on their car
and i looked and what it comes with and how come it doesnt come with a westgate

it does come with a wastegate, its just not an external wastegate, its internal

and most people would say why waste money on this kit, when you can piece one out, or even get a better kit for less. i'm actually looking at this same kit since i'm in california and would like to get everything smog legal; but that would be the only reason why i'm looking at this kit.

 

thats the only reason im looking at it cause I live IN CA too too have everything smog legal

anybody know (i know it wont be carb legal after this) if u could upgrade the turbo on this kit or at least upgrade the BOV

is anybody running this kit?

I had an Edelbrock n20 kit on a civic a while back and they answered all my questions about the jetting.

the turbo is good to at least 300 whp. and all you would need is the flange to the BOV that you want. BOV does nothing for smog, so you should be fine. but if you were looking to upgrade the turbo, you might as well not go with this kit.

300 whp will be fun to drive at first but you will find yourself wanting to find ways to squeeze more power out of your setup. Why start with a canvas that has boundries? I would definitly piece something together so that you can change the setup without having to buy a whole new kit. goodluck

Because the state he lives in is the bigger boundry. He's more wanting to keep his car smog legal, but was inquiring if he wanted more power could he get a bigger turbo if he wanted more power. And he wouldn't have needed to buy a whole new kit, it would've been just the turbo

 

You can fit larger T25 flanged and turbine housed units on the Edlebrock kit to get more power, though you may have to make some physical adjustments to the intake to the turbo itself.

Running a VENTING BOV may or may not alert the smog dogs only because it vents pressurized air into the atmosphere. (yeah I know what kind of air it is, and that technically speaking it doesn't matter, but the SMOG dogs don't care). The GT smaller framed series turbos will bolt onto that edlebrock exhaust manifold, you just have to make sure that it is internally wastegated.

you can upgrade any part of that kit, youll just have to fab somethings to work. but why get the kit if youre looking to upgrade just about everything from the kit?

you want to upgrade the turbo, the BOV, and the intercooler? the only thing thats left from the original kit is uh nothing.

Not for the amount of power that the car will make. This is not like N/A where you simply add hardware to make more power. Keep what is in the kit, and you'll be fine.
