How do I swap 88-91 prelude seats into my 90 Civic Hatch?
The seats come with the rails, do I have to get or make any custom parts to make the seats fit? I once owned a hatch with the prelude seats in them already and it looked as though the previous owner made some parts to level out the seats in the back? Any ideas, or suggestions would greatly help. I am getting a clean set with rails for $35, sweeeet!!!

i doubt they are a bolt in affair, which means you will need to do a seat pan swap with your current seats to get the prelude ones to fit. If they ARE bolt in, then lucky you.
search for "seat pan swap" with the archive button checked, and there will be plenty of info on it. good luck.

Thanks, the write up helped, I am getting the seats tomorrow so hopefully the pans will just fit without any problems, I hope. Love the prelude seats, so comfortable.
i think that was my write up... i was gonna link you but i think you found it... good luck...
Well, I tried to swap the seat pans but, the foam was glued in them really well and I didnt want to rip everything to shreds so, I just let it go. If anyone wants 2 tan 88-91 prelude seats, I have a set. They are a bit dirty but no rips or tears and they do come with the rails. I failed once again,
