Default 95 civic oil leak please help NOW WITH PICS

I have a 95 ex, i have oil on top of the tranny under the dizzy and v-tec selenoid. So far I replaced the dizzy o-ring but it didint help. when i took a second look i saw oil under the v-tec selenoid so i replaced the filter then ran the car. then it started leaking from the top part of the selonoid i replaced that gasket now it is still leaking from the top of the selenoid. i torqued all of the selenoid bolts to 9 pound feet thats what the service manual called for. if you have any thoughts please let me know.

IIRC the dizzy O ring just keeps oil from leaking through the inside of the dizzy, there's another gasket around it that keeps oil from leaking out in between the head and the dizzy (the outside of the dizzy).

It sounds like that's exactly what's wrong.

i JUST fixed this problem on my b16 last weekend. i thought it was the cam seal... took the head apart resealed it and still had the leak. took the VTEC solenoid off and woolaa there was a cracked gasket that was hard as a bullet letting oil by. went and bought a new solenoid gasket (comes w/ screen) and problem solved. the gasket was 15 bucks. give it a shot.

u said that its leaking form the top part of the solenoid? so, . . . is the solenoid itself bad?

I had some problems like that with my Vtec Solenoid I tried like 4 different gaskets kept leaking and making me mad. Well Even though your NOT suppose to do it but I lightly but Gasket sealer around the edges not on the gasket and made sure it was real clean then put them back on and tighten everything back down and doesn't leak at all anymore
