Trouble with Quick Release! help asap
I tried to install a steering wheel on today on your 1996 Civic Dx (automatic) but you got stuck, the hub won't work and didnt fit because the SRS is in the way and when I tried to take off the SRS and one of the plugs didn't wanna come off.

PLEASE HELP ME ASAP! THANKS!

are u sure u get the right hub? here is how mine looks like with short hub and quick release hub and i remember i did remove that srs device, the one u are holding at last pic.

If your not planning on running SRS just cut it. If you want to run it again trace the plug down to the source and you should be able to take it off there.

That's not the one you unplug. Follow it down under the dash near the steering column.

Just work at it some more it is a pain to get at under the column. I see why there are so many hack job hondas out there.....ppl like to hack things off that can be unclipped
I wouldn't cut it if I were you.. If the car is ever valued again, that will surely affect it. It takes like 4 more minutes to remove it from under the dash. Have a little patience and do it the right way.
im not going to cut it cause i think its a bad idea and my cousin thinks its a bad idea, so when he comes back, were going to find a way to trace it and pull it off.
As long as I dont have to take out any more Metal Gears

U dont cut it, that plug wont come off. U have to trace those wires to under the dash and disconnect it from there. It should be mid way down the steering column

Are you relly that lazy that you can't trace 2 feet of wire?

It amazes how lazy some people can be... Or lack of common sense.
Ya I work on Honda's daily as my living but ****... Think before you do something. Don't just start pulling **** apart and taking stabs in the dark. And I hope you center that cable reel before you install it again... Or don't if you don't like money.
