Default Trouble with Quick Release! help asap

I tried to install a steering wheel on today on your 1996 Civic Dx (automatic) but you got stuck, the hub won't work and didnt fit because the SRS is in the way and when I tried to take off the SRS and one of the plugs didn't wanna come off.

PLEASE HELP ME ASAP! THANKS!

If your not planning on running SRS just cut it. If you want to run it again trace the plug down to the source and you should be able to take it off there.

Here's a thought:

UNPLUG IT AND REMOVE IT.

That's not the one you unplug. Follow it down under the dash near the steering column.

Cut the thing, not like you have air bags on the new wheel. Trace the wires and remove everthing that the srs connected too.

I wouldn't cut it if I were you.. If the car is ever valued again, that will surely affect it. It takes like 4 more minutes to remove it from under the dash. Have a little patience and do it the right way.

U dont cut it, that plug wont come off. U have to trace those wires to under the dash and disconnect it from there. It should be mid way down the steering column

Its probably even less then 2 feet just remove as you go, I'm surprised you can pull a steering wheel but cant follow 2 wires. lol at auto with a "type R" shift boot.

It amazes how lazy some people can be... Or lack of common sense.

Ya I work on Honda's daily as my living but ****... Think before you do something. Don't just start pulling **** apart and taking stabs in the dark. And I hope you center that cable reel before you install it again... Or don't if you don't like money.
