where do you buy your roll cage tubing?
Id look for someplace local since mainhoops require more then 8 feet of tubing. Shipping for pieces longer then 8 feet require truck delievery which is expensive.

We get our materials @ a local placed called Metal by the Foot.
I'm sure if you open up the phone book, there should be some metal supplier locally. Cheaper than shipping that heavy stuff in.
We also get the main hoops for hondas from a local w/d. They sell the competition engineering stuff.

dom is dowl over mandrel, (im pretty sure) this tube is supposed to have a uniform wall thickness throughout the tube, where as regular mild has variances throughout the length of tube. or may have a thicker spot where the tube is seam welded together

Wrong. DOM is still welded but its more accurate for size / thickness because its drawn over a mandrel.
I think you're looking for seamless tubing. It is supposed to be much stronger.
Seamless > DOM > Std Tubing
