Default a question for wingless people

for those of you that took off your wing, aren't there holes? how did you conceal these incase you decide to sell the car and put the wing back on?

did you just plug the holes? is there a step by step somewhere on the net for doing this?

thanks in advance

I guess you could, but if you are planning on doing that, don't take your wing off. its too much trouble, waste of money, and the trunk lid might not be able to take all that abuse.

i had the body shop weld the holes shut in my trunk too. that is the best way to do it.

u can install the wing but like everybody says it'll be a hassle to do it. just give them the wing if they buy it and have them install it.

Same hole patterns, but the itr obviously has no brake light so the hole for the wires will stick out a little with the itr wing.

I think you can just get an LS and shave the studs off, and 3M tape it to the glass. I'm trying to do that now...If the guy in which I'm buying it from would answer his phone.

yeah welding it takes a pro. It has to be done with low heat so it takes a long....long time, other wise it will warp the trunk lid. I konw, cuz just the multi-disk friction on the lid warped mine.

I had just the two large holes that my GSR spoiler left welded shut to make room for my ITR spoiler. That alone was like $300, my body shop said they had some difficulties welding those damn holes shut. I would just get some plugs if I were you, so that you can go back to the wing if you like it or decide to sell the car down the road.
