Default which would give lower ET's?

Which would benefit me more in a 1/4 mile race and drop my ET's, a Mfactory 3/4/5 gearset + 4.4FD in a B16Btranny or Mfactory 4.785FD + ACT 9 lb flywheel in a B16B tranny?

i would say the gearset. but just find a gear calculator and do the math and it should tell you how much more acceleration you should get over just the final drive

mfactory also offers a first gear that guarentees .2 tenths off your e.t

a better driver missed 4th the m factory will definitely help, i would do the 4.7 and flywheel. the ctr gearing is already nice.

The only reason I missed 4th was due to a totally finished ACT organic clutch. I tried to put in the 4th four times before it went in, and the car still did 13.5 after basically rolling over the line.

Do it up Gran Turismo style and put in the gearset, flywheel, and final drive.

i got a jdm itr tranny 4.785 fd with slight 3rd gear grind(not that it matters) that i will sell for pretty cheap ... probably cost less than the gears and you get the itr lsd and gears and caseing ...then all you gotta do is swap final drives

I already have a JDM B16B tranny with a MFactort 4.785. That is what I presently use, but desire more acceleration than a FD can give.

i would do the mfactory 1st gear it has been proven to lower 60ft by 2 tenths. i sent you a pm about gear set but i would use the gear calculator to figure your other gears

ctr trans with a 4.7 = ITR trans right? (besides the 4/5)

i'd say get the gearset. In the end it's all torque multiplication, but the gearset will keep you in the powerband.

not quite .... the 98+ jdm itr tranny is b16/usdm itr/ctr first second and third but uses a gsr fourth and fifth but with the 4.785 fd 1,2,3 are shorter but gsr 4,5 end up being about the same as b16 due to higher fd .....

play around on here .... http://www.fatboyraceworks.com/gears/
