Live close to Sacramento, looking for a good shop to buy parts and get good advice for B16 swap. Also need to find someone that can tell me what year(s) my B16(s) are by the serial numbers, been told one is 2000 del sol, and one is 92-95 sir, but then someone else said it is opposite of that. Just want to get to the bottom of it.

to a certain point. that's hoping there was no major motor work done (liek a blown head).

2000 Del Sol? they still make those?! listen, don't pay attention to your source, go ahead (if possible) post some pics of the head, right above the exhaust manifold. there are numbers that may help. B16B_coupe already posted this.

there are series of numbers on the head, right over the exhaust manifold.
those numbers would tell you what year the motor is. as for the block, there really isn't anyway to tell of the serial numbers. unless there are additional numbers behind the engine code.
for example:
B16A = jdm motors.
B16A2 = 96-97 del sol, 99-00 civic si
B16A3 = 94-95 del sol
there are series of numbers on the head, right over the exhaust manifold.

Alrighty then, that is very helpful. Now what about a good shop around here? Looking for one with a dyno, the one already in my 92 hatch needs some tuning. Want to make sure cams are adjusted right, and the other one I want to put in my 97 coupe. This one I will need external parts for, I.E. intake, harness,etc. Want someone that can tell me exactly what i need.
