I was just wondering if anyone has or knows of someone that has used one of these cheap header. Wow.....this is a RACE HEADER. It has a test pipe. Thats what a RH is

 

yeah WOW... its a shorty with a testpipe. a race header is one piece. you will not see the same gains as a true header such as dcrh or bcrh. did you even look at the auction??

didn't we already have a huge argument over what defines a "race header" in another thread.

"Race Header" is "Race" because of the lack of a catalytic converter making it illegal to drive on public roads with. That makes it an off-road only or "race" part.

Really the difference here is the length of the header, shorty vs. long tube.

That ebay header looks as if you could run the factory mid-pipe with cat if you wanted to. Then it wouldn't be a "Race Header" anymore. Adding a cat to a "Race Header" would make it legal (maybe not entirely) for street use. It wouldn't be a "Race Header" anymore. Have you seen the vibrant long tube header on Corsport's site? You can purchase it with or without a cat, but it's the same header either way.

ebay header = short tube stock style
DC, BC, etc. = long tube

No matter if it is one piece or two, if there is no cat it IS a Race header.



According to you then a Buddy club Race header isnt one....since it is two pieces.
