Hey guys, I got my first car !! Need help !
I just bought a 2000 Civic VTi Oriel, Automatic Trans. (Vtec)
I know NOTHING at all about modification, thats why I came to this forum.
I wanna turn this engine into a monster. Everything in it is stock.
How do I get this baby into shape for drags and drifting ?

tune up the car don't mod it, cause you obviously don't know what you're doing.

seriosuly tho.. there's plenty of good diy's and threads on here. start reading and just don't post till you have a better understanding. you're liable to get the whole search noob thing if keep posting things like this.

I hate driving automatic, so I'm gonna remove myself, but I'll be honest, unless you're trying to throw power at them, the honda automatic transmissions aren't bad unless you don't take care of them.

If you cant do a swap to manual, maybe start with supension, H.E.I. (headers, exhaust, intake) and possibly a lighter flywheel.
Just browse through this site and any site with honda technical info. and just get informed on everything.

and you are gonna need to get some big *** "VTAK JUST KICKED IN YO" Stickers

Sell your civic find a 240 in a junk yard buy it, fix it, tune it, drift it, crash it, buy a ford.....
Seriously the auto trans in a civic is completely worthless when your talking about putting any reasonable HP numbers to the wheels. Due to them being weak and not rated for higher HP than stock, Drifting a civic is stupid and makes you look stupid for asking. The only drift your getting out of that is Ebraking it which isnt drifting, Buy a rear wheel drive car, Or look up civette and do what he did...
Auto to manual swap is your best freind right now especially since most to all Honda/Acura auto trannys are slower than my grandmothers driving..
