brake fluid
Today i was driving and and my brake went out on me.
As i was applying my brake, it went all the way to the floor. I let go really quickly and pumped it again, then it finally stopped.. I was so close into rare ending someone. Right after that, i started noticing that my brake and clutch was getting alot stiffer then usual.
Any reason on what the problem might be.I checked the brake fluid and it's halfway to the max mark. Can that be the problem.
Thanks

if there is fluid in the master cylinder then there is very little chance of it being low on fluid. the brake lines are already full meaning u just have spare in the master cylinder.

Low is something you can see and easily correct. Like the others have said, I would start looking for a leak of some sort. If no leak is found then try bleeding the brakes to correct the problem.

^^ That stumped me too... maybe its the "butt dyno" effect on the foot after pumping it for so long *shrugs*

Maybe it was just mentally that the clutch got stiffer, i dont know?
Oh well, imma take for any leaks then maybe bleed the brakes. If that dont work, take it to a brake shop.
Anyone know if brake shop charge just for checking to see what the problem is?

depends on the shop. if you ask before they check if they charge you can leave or say "o i can get it fixed somewhere else" and they will check for free. haha
anybody know if i need to change the pad in order to bleed the brake . Or can i just go straight into bleeding the brake. My first time dealing with this, need some help.
A write up would be ncie as well, tried searching but did't come with one. (withpics would be awsome)

Don't need to change pads to bleed. Honda disc brakes are easy to deal with (notice I didn't say drums) but if you don't know what you are doing don't mess with your brakes.
shouldn't have to, hondas are really easy to bleed. i think that will solve you problem, especially if it happened, then didn't happen. Sounds like those guys are right, i'd bleed it out before you take it in and waste money with those guys.
