just got 07 si 4 door
and loving it so far :D
def an upgrade over my old 95 integra gsr
i like having a lil more torque (yea right) and the shorter gearing. cant wait for it to be broken in so i dont have to baby it around
handling is pretty nice too, very responsive and nimble
love the aesthetics too
so yea this is basically me saying hi to this crowd. so, hi!

matchs my motorcycle :D
if i ever did any mods, would be only a few basics. dont need a tricked out commuter, if i wanna go fast i have the bike.
people still all about simple intake/header/exhaust route? i remember that being the thing to do with the integras...
btw, what rpm does the vtec kick in now a days? used to be 4400 for me

how long did you guys break in your si's? the dealer said take it easy fist 500 miles. couldnt take longer
what sort of mods are "warranty friendly?"
i remember the best and fairly cheapest mod i did on my integra was putting the type r rear sway bar on, is that still a good mod? (not necessarily type r, but aftermarket)
i really doubt i'd spend too much on the car anyway, much rather spend my cash on the bike

Well idk the whole break in period its kind of debatable and warranty friendly parts will usually be the HFP accessories honda has

HFP is warranty friendly. Everything can void if the dealer determines that part caused the problem.
I came from a 2000 GSR Sedan, and I miss that thing so much

wow you're almost exactly like me! I just got an 07 silver 4 door SI to replace my 98 gsr, and I love it :D The break in period is hell though, I want to hear that vtec roar
i went 600 for my break in period... but at 200 miles i started to step up my rpm's gradually. from 0-200 miles i didnt go over 3500, at 300 miles i went to 4000, at 400 miles i went to 4500, at 500 miles i went to 5000, and then after that all hell broke loose and i fell in love with my k.
w000rd. I just bought one of these things yesterday and mannnnnn does it drive nicely. tight responsive steering and handling, quick braking and the aero kit looks SICK.
black with 35% tint
can't wait to pick it up on wednsday, gonna be a nice DD

i just bought a 08 si sedan and mis shifted on the test drive and bounced the tack off of the rev limiter a few times, do you guys think that could have done any damage? btw, it drives fine. Ive also taken her into vtec quite a few times before 600 but most of my driving was 3500 shifts. should i be ok?
the dealer recommended break in is 600 miles. thats exactly how long i waited before i started really hitting vtec. my car is fine, and i am glad i was patient. even 600 is a small break in, compared to other cars, it still seemed like forever lol. best of luck man.
