Damn Matt, that stinks! I understand about the sponsors pulling out...Trans Am is pretty expensive to run.

Trans-Am is expensive, VERY.
We run a Trans-Am car in CGTCC and HSR/SVRA.
Fun cars to be around though, I hope you get the chance at some point to crew.
What is your friends name? What team?

Rich La Barbera. R&L Racing, #08.

He purchased a new car this year and has yet to finish a race.

Sebring: Didn't go
Mosport: blew tranny on lap 23
Limerock: Blew motor in practice, blew spare on lap 2. Cause was clogged oil cooler.
Mid-Ohio: total fiasco

The good thing is, as the car sits in his trailer with a new engine and transmission on tires that have 3 laps on them, he's ready to roll out and qualify at Washington.
