Default accord thought

I recnetly saw vid of an accord being an 95 beating an evo with 286 hp basically stock. My theory is that since the evos weight is an average of 3600pounds even though it's engineered for an ratio for racing than an accord and being an accord like 95 weight is 2400pounds. if you have lets say 300hp with an ls you could beat evo. also saw that stock evo runs 13.59 and accord 95 runs 13.79 with h22a craking 240hp. what you think?????

i think you have the weights way off. i know a stock accord weighs about 3000 lbs and there's no way an EVO weighs 3600 lbs. Either way I have no idea what you are trying to say with this post.

Here's all generations of EVO weights

Here's the Accord weight

I'm not tryin to be a dick but Accords suck and aren't for racing. I used to have one.

well i wish you could prove it math wise but i know whatevr. it says they weigh at 2700 pound
preety heavy
then agin would be better to actually weigh one yourself. i don't know how then that accord beat evo fairly. and acura tl weigh more so explain that one also audi s4

sorry let me clarify. All i'm saying is that proff is proof evo at 13.50 and some accord running 13.79 here vid
accord-http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9220439179677313969&q=accord+turbo&total=273&start =0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1

evo-http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9220439179677313969&q=accord+turbo&total=273&start =0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1

i think that evo and all types of jap performa that is just has an better chassie for race. but you could also maybe fine tune accord and get the same mork work but still.

who cares.... i'm sure an accord could beat an evo boosted or with a mildly built H22... just like anything.... i'm sure my pinto with a 454 could beat an EVO too... what does that mean? nothing.. this post is worthless.....

I have a 95 f22 accord with a custom kit on it... weight is 3020 on my 5 speed sedan, full interior minus the spare and jack.

I am not going to even touch the evo racing part... who cares and too much to account for to definatively say anything useful from just seeing a video on the internet of a street race.

I will say that accords can be decently quick though, despite the afore mentioned comments of how they suck. If you want to get down to it, quite a few people think fwd's aren't for racing at all. We all know the traditional thought process, hondas/ acuras/ fwds are shitbox's for economy... not racing or modifications. So have an open mind before you judge something as you yourself defy that very logic with modding a honda/ acura, pot calling kettle. Just because your civic or integra is bandwagon platform with lots of aftermarket support... dont **** on us accords.

I will add my vote to this is a useless thread.
