P2R V6 Civic. Alive & Running
It's been a long time since I have posted any information about this car. The car has been running for about 5-6 months now. We finally got to tune it about a month and a half ago. The engine is still totally stock. So we are only running 11 psi on 103 octane. The car made 506 HP & 442 Tq.

A local online magazine did a article on the car. There are more pictures of the car on there site :

On the last pull after we finished tuning the engine, we lost cylinder 5. At first we thought maybe we fried a piston ring, but after taking off the cylinder head, we realized that a dowel pin from the intake manifold somehow came out and got stuck under a valve. Lucky for us nothing was hurt. So we took the pin out reinstalled the cylinder head and the engine is running again.
It took us alot to get the car to rev out. We were having issues trying to use the stock timing gear and it was causing the car to have a big misfire around 3k rpms. Actually was so bad that the car would not past 3k rpms. Sorry I do not have any videos of a clean dyno run, but here are two videos of about 4-5 months back when we were having the crank trigger problems. Videos suck but atleast you can hear how the car sounds below 3000 rpms.

We still have more things that we need to do to the car before we actually take it to the track. We are however, hoping to get it to the track before the end of the month. I will keep you guys posted. We need to get new wheel bearings, extended wheel studs, a rpm gauge, and a battery cut off switch. We already have a fiberglass hood that the body shop next door to us made so that we can go to the track.
I will surly get video of us at the track, and will maybe put the car back on the dyno to record a good video of it. Just need to get the time.

Yes we will be there.
The car will be a little different though. We have a ton of work to do to the car to make it be able to go down the track. Right now its just has a basic 6 point cage. We need to spend some money on chassis work, and suspension.
We also need to spend some time making sure the car is more solid now. Fix all holes in the firewall, strengthen some of the chopped up areas in the car, etc.

Here are some pictures of the new intake manifold going on the car. This will allow us to run injectors in the stock location. We were noticing a few weird things happening with the injectors high up. Didnt really turn into a big problem yet, but the fuel surly goes all kind of places when the car goes into boost
lol
