On my da my oil light comes on and its because of the pressure switch, now is that bad at all cuz if not i dont mind it, my oil levels are fine and i dont mind fixin it in a bit but i wanted to make sure that it wont be doing any damage to my motor.

 

you sure it's a bad switch, and not actually low oil pressure? just because the oil level is correct doesn't mean the pump is building enough pressure.

do you have an aftermarket switch or anything? This is the reason I love my oil pressure gauge. In fact maybe you should get one

 

I know my oil pump is good cuz the switch is actually a little loose theres slight movement to it. Also i can shut the car off and move the switch manually and the light actually turns off. When its on it flashes with the dips in the road.

Replace the Oil Switch First. Its fairly cheap and easy. If the light still comes on they I would recommend getting the oil pressure checked.
