So people who were planning to do a CO / UT trip will have 1 more extra week to kill?

Any reason(s) for the change?

i saw that one coming as well, but i have the same question. where are the rules?

 

It seems that (even though our schedule has been out since Nov.27) another sanctioning body scheduled dates on top of our events.

So, we have decided to move our dates to help and accommodate the racers who may want to run more than just one series in 2008.
Sorry for the extra week between the CO and UT events, we thought we had it worked out nicely.

We however, can not move our World Finals date at Etown, maybe somebody else can step up and move their date since we have now moved 2 dates.

We hope to see the rules this week.

No ofense but there on diffrent sides of the country!! I dont think 1 week is going to make a diffrence!

 

It makes no difference to the racers who are not trying to run both series, but it is a huge deal to those who plan on running both.........
Don't forget the sponsors who may support both as well........

 

Glenn moving it up puts it almost on top of our race.

 

But, it is not on the same date, your event is scheduled a week later

 

logisticly this doesnt benefit anyone.

Wouldn't it be better for all 3 parties (BOTI, NOPI, and Money Race) for it to go:
June 14-15 - Money Race in Alabama
June 21-22 - BOTI in Maryland
June 28-29 - NOPI in Colorado
July 11-12 - BOTI in Nevada
July 18-19 - NOPI in Utah


This allows people to work their way over the country. i know i would love to make the above races. But before these 2 date conflicts, i was going to have to pass on the BOTI date as the car would be sitting out west somewhere so that i could make 3 west races (2 NOPI, 1 BOTI) instead of just 1 east race (! BOTI).
With this new schedule, we'll miss the NOPI race and just take a single week trip out west to make 2 races and i'll still make the single race here.

I would love to make all 4 races, but with the current schedule, i dont think its cost effective to anyone


and looking at the MIR Schedule, it appears as the weekend of the 21-22 is only a locals points race which could likely be rescheduled to one week later pretty easily. If Bandimere is still available of the 28-29, i would love to see those 2 dates/events switched

I hope this might help some reasoning with both series

I would love to make all 4 races than just 3. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

 

Unfortunately Francisco, we can not make anyone else move their dates.
We had Denver, CO. on the 28/29 on our original schedule......

 

i hear ya. i cant complain about not being able to make 1 more race though, i already have 15 scheduled to make and then some car shows like HIN too.

Most of us understand your doing all you can to pull everything together. We also realize that it's not an easy job trying to make everybody happy.

We are not wanting to work against any of the normal racing bodies that is why i pointed out that we are the weekend of June 14th and 15th.
