CARB legality is questionable on Greddy kits. With intercooler and BOV, it's not legal.
It will piggyback into your stock ECU and attempt to control the injection maps. You WILL need the extra harness to control the timing. I can't believe they get away with selling the kit without any control over the timing. It's actually a Mazda radio harness.
You're going to need a wideband O2 sensor and the Greddy USB-serial cable (this can be made for cheap) connected to a laptop in order to tune and not run on the super rich basemap.
Your intake and header go in the trash. The larger exhaust will help to spool the turbo.

The USB cable is for tuning and datalogging. You can make one or buy one. Check the Yahoo Emanage Group.

The mazda radio harness just happens to fit into the eManage unit's second slot. I forget what year and make, but that info is available. It is used for creating timing maps (you will need to retard timing to prevent detonation which will destroy your engine). It has an ignition input and an ignition output.

A P28 will not work on a GSR without modification, as it does not have IAB control. You would need an OBD1 P72 ECU for your B18C1.
This is a good idea overall, and will give you much more control over your setup and tune, but you'll either need someone burn the bin's, or buy hardware to burn them yourself. You would also need to buy tuning software (or CROME Free) or pay someone to tune your car for you.
The kit should come with larger 310CC injectors.

Yes, you can, but it will not have any timing pulled and it will be extremely rich. It's good up to the stock wastegate setting of 5-6 psi.
Not only does it run your timing map like you are stock and not boosted (too much timing=detonation=bent rod/burnt piston). But in addition to that, because of the way the pggyback works, you are already shifted over in the timing maps by altering the map signal.
The wideband is the biggest $ hit there.
The harness is 5-10$ and emanage cable is either 5$ from radio shack (build it), 50$ from the internet (generic cable) or $100 from greddy.
If you're not up to it, pay someone to tune it for you.

i got some other questions bare with me please ha

Do the Greddy intercooler kits bolt on righ up the the turbo kit or do i have to buy something else

Also does the BOV bolt on to the greddy piping or does it get welded on.

Would it be better if i get a better fuel pump also?

Thanks alot for your help man

No problem, questions like these help the search engine.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SupremexGSRx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">how much psi can i run it until i Tune it?</TD></TR></TABLE>
0psi, as I said earlier, the basemap runs advanced timing and will take out your headgasket and possibly your block. to Greddy for not providing a stock timing basemap or ignition harness. You can do run it for years at 5-6 psi, but when your coolant starts overflowing, then you will know why the ignition harness is needed.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SupremexGSRx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Do the Greddy intercooler kits bolt on right up the the turbo kit or do i have to buy something else?</TD></TR></TABLE>The greddy intercooler kits are usually a perfect fit for thier turbo kits. Very over priced, but each pipe is bent, cut and bead rolled perfectly.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SupremexGSRx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
Also does the BOV bolt on to the greddy piping or does it get welded on?</TD></TR></TABLE>You can either get a 6" peice of piping with a BOV flange, or you can just weld a flange onto the charge piping.

Also the upgraded fuel pressure doesn't work well with the piggyback engine managements, you will have hard starts and other issues related to running rich. CEL p0171 (Fuel trim too rich) is almost guranteed.
