Have you checked fuel and spark? Is it turning over and just not cranking?

i talked to my builder and he put the skunk mark on the top instead of the degree marks up top on the cams. so i am 180 off. hopefully he is right with his memory. will find out on saturday when i try to start it again!!!!!

Go back to basics, Check fireing order, run a compression test...

If you are getting spark and fuel and its not starting or backfireing its prob a dizzy problem. That or the motor dosnt have compression. Are they new plugs?

Your going to have to give more info if you want more imput from others.

so the cams ended up being not at top dead center. so we fixed that and it started right away. But the bad news was that while we were driving it it died. It seems that the builder didn't install the inner and outer piece that keeps the timing belt from coming off !!!!!! So the car died, pushed it back home and now i have to take it apart and hope that i didn't ruin any valves....My luck

Have your builder fix it, that's a bullshit mistake.

it is a bullshit mistake. I took everything apart and the belt is just fine, it didn't jump time, there was a lot of melted plastic (timing cover). With all that said i am mad, but i am also glad in a way that nothing is wrong with my motor!!!! A lesson learned the hard way
