Changing Brake pads
1997 Honda Accord SE
I changed the brake pads for my 1st time and everything seemed to be fine. I noticed brake fluid dripping from underneath my car so I popped the hood and it was leaking from the brake fluid resevoir. Is this something I should get checked out by a professional or did I just push back in the piston too far with the c-clamp forcing the fluid to leak out of the resevoir?

If brake fluid was close to the top of the resevoir pushing the piston in could overflow the cup. One question, does the car have rear disks? and were they changed?
if your brake fluid was at the full line before you worked on your brakes then yes some will spill out. if it was at the add level then it most likely would not have spilled out.
FYI the brake fluid eats paint, might be worth the effort to blast it off with brakcleen.
When you pushed the caliper piston back it forced fluid up to the master cylinder.
No Big Deal.
Next time crack open the bleed screw as you squeeze the caliper piston back, you'll be suprised at the nasty black crap fluid that comes out of the caliper.
Close the bleed screw as the caliper piston bottoms out. Then after you finish put fresh fluid into the master reservoir.
