I would have thought Germans would like black rims since Porche has had them for a while.
I'm not a fan of shiny black rims but flat black gets a big
in my books. They make a smaller wheel look bigger and brake dust doesn't show up like on white wheels.

Why did you paint the rims black ? Black alway looks like steel-rims for winter season.....you in US and Aus seem to like that looking.

But in winter season you see all the cars with black steel rims and winter tires cruising around... People put their silver-shiny rims like OZ,BBS,Borbet etc.. into the garage... Look my Avatar looks like.. Those are stock rims, weared in January.
I would never choose black rims to save the contrast (car, tire, rim)...
Just like the black hoods you like to use..
I`ll get my carbon hood painted for sure. A black hood on a bright car looks like I had to get a replacement-hood from the junkyard and wait to get it painted..... Those items simply are not common in my area..
