I suppose we do get the Type S engine but for the price which is about the same or a little cheaper than a Type S I think it's good value...

What a fool.

*yawn* I hate defending the fellow DC5r owners from oz and nz, but its hell-of-a insulting to firstly call our integra an rsx, but more over, claim that its no different than the rsx.

The first Instance is just ignorance, the second is pure (and I hate to say it) American stupidity.

1) We get : Recaro Seats, Titanium ****, Momo Wheel, no sun roof, no cruise control, titanium Internal engine springs, LSD, -140lbs of weight, aero kit w/ brake ducts, JDM Light
2) We pay NZ$10000 less than what you pay for your RSX and get a much better equipped car
3) JDM engine is a K20, ours is a K20A, yours is a K20A2. Therefore ! same engine and ! same car.

Because of our weight savings, we have a quicker car. And, IMHO a better car.

Sorry to all those who have cared to look at the differences and to which the above post doesn't apply, but heck, I'm sure you'd be annoyed if someone called your Type R a GSR with a few extra things....

Thanks Mac for clearing that up. You saved me the time to type it all out .
I very much dislike ignorance too. Even though you guys have a similar engine, in the how scheme of things you guys have a better deal.

Hey thanks dude. I think on reflection I could have been a bit jumpy. Understandable - but I am a firm believer in "fix it once and do it right". For that I am more than happy to accept 'flamage', I often get things wrong - but I try not to thru lack of research (which leads to ignorance).

Happy to speak out for ya

Love the black rims - did you paint them yourself or have them professionally done? I'd like to do the same to mine, so any help is appreciated!

My brother painted my rims. Its very easy to do. Just buy some flat/matt black paint (spray can) and start spraying. Just dont spray to close as the paint drips.
