distributor DX to ZC
i was wiring my car today dx to zc and was wondering if i could just use my DX distributor since the crank sensor is not part of the distributor, cuz i didnt want to repin the other distributor.. is that possible (dx distributor on the zc)
and is there an "easy" way to get the pins out of the ecu connector?!?!
thanks in advance

i dont think it is.. the dx distributor is minus to wires (blue with a yellow tracer and blue with a green tracer)
this same question was just asked about the dx to zc converion i think

but the 2 blue wires that are coming off the distributor is only for an si, a ZC has the external crank sensor on the ehxuast cam... so i was wondering if i could just use the DX distributor(doesnt have the crank sensor wired into it) so i wouldnt have to swap plugs and everything
Don't know about that but the ZC is Identical to the Integra distributer. And I somehow remember something about it no being able to work but can't remember why.
Yes you can use the DX diz. Just run the C1 and C2 wires to the blue/green, blue/yellow wires on the exhaust cam for the Cyl position sensor. For some reason honda used the external cyl position sensor in the ZC and 86-89 tegs. The B16's were the same generation but there in the Diz figure that one out???
