Default 93Ls Vs 94 GS-R

Hi guys! I have a 92 Honda civic HB wit a 93 Ls motor and 93 Gs-r cable tranny wit hydro conv and rear disc brakes conv wit '99 V-tec Si rims. I was thinking of making it Turbo for next summer but now My cousin is selling me a 94 Gs-r integra for parts for 700 dollars because the chassis is no good, but motor and tranny runs great. IS IT WORTH BUYING IT AND MAKING THE 94 B18C1 TURBO INSTEAD OF WHAT I HAVE ALREADY????

Yes, especially considering you can sell your LS swap and Tranny for around the same price you'll be paying for the GSR swap. Plus you can still swap in his interior and make more money from selling off the suspension and other parts

get it. Swap the engine and tranny in your car and sell your LS with the b16 ys1 tranny. You will also make good profit selling the cable to hydro. Not to mention you should be considerably faster with the gsr.

i would say that would be a good deal. not bad for a gsr, even if the chassis is bad. oh, btw, tell your cousin i'll give him double what your paying!

But then he wont have vtec to match his vtec wheels!

Go for the GSR because at 700 dollars thats a pretty good deal.

if you want a vtec motor, go for it.....but a built turbo LS is a big handful i can assure you.....shoot 260hp to the wheels is a handful in your chassis....but to each their own, if you can find the money and buy it and keep the LS id say do that.....other then that, the LS is a good motor for boosting...good luck with your choice.

The engine and tranny are worth more than $700. So this sounds like it would be a good deal.

You should def. get it cuz if you can put it the swap yourself you can sell of the rest of the car and buy parts to build a turbo GSR. You won't find another GSR full swap for 700 and the power difference will be incredibly noticable.
