Default New O2 sensor = check engine light

Ok, I got a new universal NGK O2 sensor for my 99 Integra GS, I figured the price was the best and I just need to cut a few wires and whatnot. So I ordered it, and had my brother put it on, and now the check engine light is on, what is up with that? Someoene please help...

Check to make sure he wired it up correctly. And have you checked to see what code you're throwing?

I'll have to take a look at the wiring, the O2 sensor is for the front
I don't have one of those pocket scanners so I don't know what the code is...
