Default Car seizing up! help help help!

Ok so I have b20 w/ a b16 head. Now, just recently ive started having problems w/ my belts (mainly timing belt) & the other day I was takin' it up to high rpms around where vtec engages & I lost all throttle response & my CEL came on. I could give it some gas but it wouldnt go about 2,500 rpm's & it sounded like it was about to shut off.
Sence then its done it twice & no one I know can figure out wtf is up.

Any help?

& if you need anymore details to help me figure out what it is, ask.
I know this probably wasnt the most descriptive explination.

seeing you didn't share what code it was, i'm going to guess that "no one you know" had any idea what they were doing.

your car is in limp mode, pulling the cel will help (as throwdown said)

if i was having problems with my timing belt, i don't think i'd be revving anywhere near vtec.

Default Re: (instrument)

I forgot to add that whenever my CEL comes on & I have no throttle response that whenever I shut the car off and crank it up, it runs ok again.

& im going to see if I can get the CEL code today.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Throwdown &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ya what CEL was it? i don't think it was your T-belt if it jump timing it would feel boggy all the time sounds like a spark, fuel issue need more info</TD></TR></TABLE>

Now that you meantion it, the car does fell kind of boddy a lot lately..

Ok im going to tell it how it happened:
So I get in my car, crank it up & every morning now that I wake up & its been cold the night before the car squeels like a SOB. I let it warm up for a good 30 seconds & it goes away. Now when the cars in neutrul ive been having some idiling problmes where it just from about 1k rpms down to 500 (a little less sometimes) then back up to 1k & even up to 1.5k.

Coinsidently now that I think about everytime its happened (3 times) ive been in high rpms going around a corner. Never when im going straight, parked, ect..

So everthing time its happened ive been hauling *** around some kind of corner & CEL pop's up and no throttle response. Pull over shut the car off, turn it back on & BAM! Runs again & no CEL light.
