Im aware of having an alignment done after install.....and have everyday access to a rack.....But what about pre-loading the radius rods?

when you "pre-load" the radius arms, then you will affect your caster... unless you have proper means of measuring this, then it should be done on an alignment rack....
according to my traction bar install instructions. i don't have them in front of me, but i do remember what it says. install the main bar, tighten. Install radius arms to lower control arm and main bar. Tighten. preload the radius arms by turning by hand until drag is felt. tighten lock nuts.
