Default Yes even Harbor Freight has an HID kit

I apologize if this is a repost but I am sure everyone has noticed that everyone and their mom are selling HID kits, Well I guess they have become cheap enough to manufacture that some of the cheap labor 'heavy hitters' are stepping in... I stopped by the ol' Harbor Freight today in search of a cheap heat gun and stumbled over these in the ad they were running. I have been looking at HID kits for the past few weeks and was wondering how they can state that these are DOT approved, when I thought that no HID kits were DOT approved...

Has anyone used these kits with a legit projector?

I wouldn't even think of buying a PnP kit. Only kits I deal with are OEM kits for retrofits

that's an H4 hi/lo kit, you can't use that with a projector.
