Have the dealership change out your trans fluid. They should do this free because of a service bulletin put out by Honda. They used aftermarket trans fluid from the factory (WTF) and they will replace it with genuine and improved Honda fluid. This made a very noticable difference in the way my 3rd gear performed. Mine does not pop out of gear or grind at all anymore. This was the case on my 2006 SI. I cannot vouch for other years.
