so i just finished my b20vtec build yesterday..stock b20b bottom end..b16 head..itr cams..it ran fine yesterday..today i took the car into vtec...jus to hear the crossover didnt really drive in vtec at all..maybe a second..when i came out of vtec maybe 30 sec down the road my timing belt snapped..been reading a few post about bent valves..can someone let me know my chances of everything being ok or valves being bent....please help me

 

i hate to be a downer, but chances are your gonna have big problems... valves are probably gonna be bent. what kinda timing belt did yo use? did you change it and if you did, did you buy a genuine honda timing belt? i have a b20 too and am about ot put it in. bought a genuine honda timing belt and hoping i dont have to worry about this

no bent valves...got really lucky..i think it jump some teeth and snapped..oem belt will be fine...youll have fun with that b20..mine pulls so hard in vtec

 

yeah b20 is in and now i just have to connect my boost controller and vaccum lines and ill be up and runnin. i dont have vtech on it yet but should soon
