b20vtec timing belt snapped..help
so i just finished my b20vtec build yesterday..stock b20b bottom end..b16 head..itr cams..it ran fine yesterday..today i took the car into vtec...jus to hear the crossover didnt really drive in vtec at all..maybe a second..when i came out of vtec maybe 30 sec down the road my timing belt snapped..been reading a few post about bent valves..can someone let me know my chances of everything being ok or valves being bent....please help me
what kind of pistons are in the engine?
the only way to find out if you have bent valves is to quickly put a new belt on and fire the engine up......you should be able to tell if the valves are bent
