So I started this tonight...at least I think it's a start. I dremeled out some of the headlight so I could fit the projector in to what I think is a pretty good place for it. On the back of the housing, I need to shave a little more off of it fit the bulb holder, however, I thought just maybe I could use this as an aiming point. Onto the pictures to help me explain what I'm looking at. Here's where they're currently sitting. Keep it under control, but I'm looking for feedback as to whether I can basically just bolt these up and adjust them like I ask below or what needs to be done. TIA







These next two pictures are what I'm referring to as "aiming points". Since I'm mounting this to the reflector and then using a shroud and bezel to keep light from scattering, I thought maybe I could use this point that the stocks bulb ride against as a point to keep my projectors straight. If you look below, I have two lines I'm referring to marked in red. If I keep these two pieces perpendicular, will I then be able to aim these just like stock headlights or what am I actually gonna need to do?

 

Cut a little more behind the red line so that more of the backside of the projector will be exposed so that you can fit the bulb holders

 

Yeah, that's my plan but I wanted to see if that was something I could use a reference point to keep it straight, but apparently that's not going to work.
