hello,i got a 1994 integra not too long ago and well i decided to stop being a lurker.

well it is a fun car but the mantainence light comes on and blinks when i set the key to acc. for a few seconds then goes off,it just started doing this after my upper radiator hose blew. i think something might have gotten soaked and is not reading right,but the car runs fine.

please give me your wisdom and thanks in advance. >>>>>>A.J.

 

turn the key to acc.
reach under the steering column (and a bit to the right)
find a little square blue button
hold it down for 5 seconds
turn key off, turn it back on to acc

it should blink then go away.

its a maint light that comes on every XXXX amount of miles. your hose that blew has nothing to do with it.

 

maint. light is just a reminder that comes on every XXXX miles to remind u to get like oil change etc. its nothing. mine has been on for a year strait, it never bothered me so i just left it alone.
