Buddy Club Vcon vtec controller
I have a 97 civic ex. I bought the vcon and the instructions aren't that good of a help. We wired it up the best to our knowledge and the instructions. But we the vtec point wont adjust but the light comes on when i hit vtec.
Can anyone help??

You don't need to adjust the engagement point for V-TEC. Honda technicians know when the best time/RPM is to engage it. You shouldn't really worry about it, making it come on earlier won't net you additional HP in case you didn't know.
Try this link, https://honda-tech.com/zerothre...17585. The only thing i can think of is you may not have wired it right since you said instructions were not much help or it may not be genuine buddy club if bought depending on where you bought it.

I'm not looking for a hp gain just would like it to kick in a little earlier. But yeah it's a real one not a knock off. Just seeing if anyone has wired one up for this model yet and could hep me out.
