Hearing knocking noise when turning...HELP PLEASE. not the axle!!
So I drive a 98 civic ex, with a 2nd gen b16 swap.
Here is the problem. Whenever I turn , I hear this knocking noise coming from my right wheel. Its not rubbing, and the axle is not broken. If I press the clutch down and turn, I don't hear it. But if I am not pressing the clutch, there is this loud knocking noise and the car kinda jerks. Its soooo damn annoying. What could it be? The car was just put back together by a shop and it wasn't doing that prior to this. Could it be the differential? When I am driving straight I don't hear anything, could this be hazardous when I am driving on parkways...etc.??? The shop is closed until the jan 3rd and I also dont want to give them any more of my money. Just seeing if it is something that I can fix myself. Thanks in advance. Help is appreciated.
