Need Help on A/C Replacement
Does anyone have advice on replacing my A/C Compressor ? I Need Tips for a '92 Accord LX wagon.
My shop quoted $1200 for the job which is way more than I can pay and I live in a hot climate. It is vital for the coming summer. Is there a better way to go, say getting online part and finding a installer ? I see discount parts for $380, but not sure if the quality is best. If anyone has any recommendations of where to get this part, what to look for, how hard to install for average skills, tools, please let me know. Thanks.

junkyard i'd say. You could try doing the work yourself It may take some time but I don't think it'll be too hard. Get a Haynes Manual for your car at Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. Not only will you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself but you'll learn a thing or two about your car.
man i just had one i woulda sold your for 20 bucks but i just traded it and a bunch of other scrap steel for a 350, about a week too late just post a wtb on here, someonelse has to have one they pulled off
