Default Deh-P4800MP into a teggy that needs it.

Hey, i just got a Deh-P4800mp from a friend that crashed his first gen mr2
he gave it to a friend for ten bucks and then i beat the little guy until i got it for free.

i have a 91 acura integra with a stock deck.
i wasnt surprised that the wires didnt match.

i was wondering if these two plugs had a name and a converter so i dont have to hot wire it.

this...

has to go into...

thanks for the help in advance

They are called adapter harnesses, they are specific to MM&Y of car, there are a few brands with Metra, Scosche and Best at the top of the list, this is a Scosche one... http://www.scosche.com/product...D/295

To fit your G2, you may also be able to get one of these... http://www.scosche.com/product...3/177
one end is like the adapter plug I linked, the other will fit into your free HU, black/plug in the pixs you posted, plug and play.

You will also need a dash kit... http://documents.victorytechno...2.pdf the Metra one is the best IMO, but like the others do not fallow the directions on what "clips" to remove... "Cut and remove the TOP clips from the Radio Housing."
without checking first, "test fitting kit in console" and make a proper back support for the HU, this may help... http://www.installdr.com/Insta...9.pdf

If you are handy you can use the stock pocket, make some custom bracketing to attach the Pioneer HU to the pocket, like the stock HU is and install the Pioneer without the need for a kit, again, a proper back support is needed as it is what will hold the HU and pocket in place, like the stock HU and pocket.
The stock HU is held in place with two 8mm machine screws, however, on the aftermarket HU you will use one screw in the middle, Honda/Acura has convinently also supplied a hole/slot in the center of the stock back support to make a back support very easy to do in your car, all you have to do is make the "L" bracket to mount on the back of the Pioneer HU and use the hole in the center of the stock back support to attach the "L" bracket, not only does this make a good solid back support it is also a very good chassis ground. 94
