Default will a Thermal or Hondata heatshield gasket fit on a PerformerX setup

I need to know if the thicker thermal gasket will fit between my PerformerX without causing the manifold to touch the firewall. This is in an EK chasis.

is the manifold already installed without the gasket?

try to get a measurement of how much room you have between the manifold and firewall.

Then see how thick the gasket is. if its smaller then the available area you should be fine

I haven't bought the gasket yet, so I don't know how thick it is. That is why I am asking someone with experience in this to give me a response.

which gasket are you looking at? I am sure they list the thickness on the website or you can just call and ask

You have to ask some the most bone headed questions for someone who has done as much as you have. No wonder its so easy to sell you parts.....more money than brains.

Who the hell do you think you are. I live on a small island in the caribbean and don't have access to these parts face to face to check clearance before purchase like you. The space between the Performerx and firewall is tight as hell and a gasket that is too thick will not fit. All I ask is that if someone who has experience using this manifold and have attempted to install a Hondata heatshield gasket, to give me their feedback. WHAT IS BONE DEADED IN THAT YOU DICK!

Ok it will not fit.... there is some internet advise, take it with a grain of salt. 2FASTGSR already gave you the best advise possible. MEASURE IT and find out. They do have rulers on your tiny island correct?

And for the record I have access to jack ****. I started teh Performer-x thread to INFORM I bought the manifold and tried it. Look at my build EK chassis Performer-X Hondata heat shield..... It fits. I believe D-Rob has a heat shield on his too, but the manifold will not fit at all without moving a few things to clear the IACV, heat shield or not. So no it does not fit without modofications.

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.

Take that to heart. Your never going to learn without trying.

Of course I know you have to move things around for the manifold to fit, I have it installed on my car. I have never come across a vendor who has specs of thickness for these gaskets, OR I WOULDN'T NEED TO ASK.
And I don't have the luxury for trail and error here. It takes a part two-four weeks to get to me here after I order it from the US, so it makes no sense I order a part and it doesn't fit. THAT WOULD BE BONE HEADED. Instead I try and do some resarch first, and if that fails I post a thread for information from people who have experience, and just to be called bone headed by you .

My P2R thermal intake gasket is 1.5mm thick

I would imagine hondata is close to the same

I run the Hondata gasket on mine in an EK chasis.

No problems.
