i have a ek4 civic which i am turboing and have to upgrade the brakes will prelude 2.2 vtec calipers bolt straight on i have 282mm discs off an mg and need calipers also does anyone know what would be a good upgrade for the rear brakes thanks

 

yes it will...you might need to grind part of the carrier to allow clearance for the disc - rears probably mg or itr calipers

 

what about discs for the back? do i need to get prelude carriers or do i jst grind the original ones?

 

i have gsr spindals on my car and i installed prelude type sh calipers on the spindal the bolted up i just had to cut a lil off the dust cover to make fit

 

you can use mg discs as well along with itr calipers and carriers on the rear

remember 70% of thebraking is done up front so you might want to leave the rears standard
