My October Trip To Puerto Rico(56K GO AWAY!)
In October I had the pleasure of visiting la isla del encanto and had the honor of being there for one of the best sport compact events in the world, National Mazda of Puerto Rico at Ponce International Speedway.
My day on October 14th began on a parkway somewhere east of ponce when I caught a glimpse of the only RX-2 four door in PR

Walking around the pits after entering the track:

Got to love PR!

When was the last time you see one of these?

Herbie was even there!

My Cuban people are even in PR

20B three rotor rx-8

This was my favorite ride

Mazda has a private museum in-track dedicated to the Wankel

No guessing here this track is sea-level

Yep those are 13x8's on rwd and there M&H 22/8/13 FWD slicks

Spoke to these guys in the pits they didn't even sweat the wreck and its a pretty common thing in PR for people not to sweat wrecking, if they wreck one day then the next day they've got the car back at the chassis shop. Extreme die hard racers.

All in all I enjoyed every single second being there and the atmosphere was amazing something words can't describe, only thing that comes to mind is that I cannot wait to go back. Only regrets were I wish I didn't get so tanked up Pitorro(Puerto Rican Moonshine) so I could've taken more pictures and I wish I were racing.

Those are some nice pictures, looks like a beautiful place to go. I just love the way the PR build their cars, they do some quality work. Who's the model in the picture, she's hot. I always see her on the GRS Motorsport website. That's a good site for racing in PR http://www.grs-motorsports.com/
